   франц. актёр. По окончании курсов драм. иск-ва Ш. Дюллена и Школы драм, иск-ва Ж. Л. Коше участвовал в любительской труппе "Кафе де ла гар". В кино с 1966. Образ грубоватого парня в ф. "Вальсирующие" (1973) определил тип мн. героев Д. и принёс актёру известность. Позднее проявил себя как актёр психологич. портрета, социального анализа характеров. Снимался в ф. реж.: Б. Бертолуччи - "Двадцатый век" (1976); М. Феррери - "Последняя женщина" (1975), "Прощай, самец" ("Мечта обезьяны", 1978); М. Дюра - "Натали Гранже" (1973), "Женщина с Ганга" (1974) и "Грузовик" (1977); А. Тешине - "Барокко" (1976); А. Рене - "Мой американский дядюшка" (1980); Ф. Трюффо - "Последнее метро" (1980), "Женщина по соседству" (1981).
