Лучшие ф.: "Квартал веселья" (1964, в сов. прокате "Династия непокорённых", сц. М. и И. Григореску), политич. ф. "Власть и Правда" (1972). ленты "Конспирация" (1973), "Капкан" (1974). В творчестве М. пристальный психологич. анализ сочетается со стремлением к масштабной проблематике.
